Daniel Glass provides comprehensive dermatology services. A particular area of interest is understanding the genetic basis of mole development and how that relates to the development of melanoma. This research interest compliments Dr Glass' clinical interest in mole checks and mole removal.
As part of his routine assessment of skin lesions Dr Glass uses a dermatoscope which illuminates and magnifies structures within the skin and has been shown to improve diagnostic accuracy.
Dr Glass regularly undertakes skin surgery to remove skin cancers and changing or symptomatic moles. He is also able to remove benign moles that may not be covered by the NHS or insurance companies. Dr Glass also uses Botox injections for excess sweating in the armpits and cryo-therapy for sun damge.
